The scenic route from Cape Town
As you leave Cape Town behind and follow the N7 north, the scenery begins to change. Open landscapes, rugged mountain ranges and the calm waters of the dam slowly set the tone for what awaits you at Yamu.
For the more beautiful and atmospheric approach, we recommend entering Clanwilliam Waterfront Estate into Google Maps. This route takes you along the scenic side of the dam and the Olifants River, with peaceful water views and dramatic rock formations. It’s the more immersive route, and the one we recommend.
Your arrival, made effortless
As you approach the entrance gate, you’ve nearly arrived at your personal oasis. Continue through and follow the road down towards reception. It becomes steeper as it leads downhill, so simply follow the main road until you reach Reception and the available parking.
Our friendly team will be waiting to welcome you with a small refreshment, before our e-cart shuttle service takes you comfortably from reception directly to your tent.
Check-in is from 15:00. Should you wish to arrive earlier, please check with us in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt beautifully considered. The beds were incredibly comfortable with luxurious linen, the spacious bathroom was a dream, and the outdoor shower with its open views was simply magical.
