Cancellation Policy

• Cancelling 7 days before arrival: 100% of the booking total is forfeited.
• Cancelling 30 days before arrival: 50% of the booking total is forfeited.
• Cancelling outside of 30 days before arrival: an administration fee of R1,500 applies, with the remaining deposit refunded.

Card fees (transaction costs) are not refunded in the case of cancellations or other situations where funds need to be reversed to a credit card.

Payment

• All major credit cards are accepted, except Diners Club and American Express.
• The remaining 50% of the accommodation cost is payable no later than 30 days prior to arrival.

Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: between 15h00 and 21h00. For check-in after 21h00, prior arrangement is required.
• Check-out: 11h00.
• Early arrivals and late check-outs can be arranged on request; fees will apply.
• Rooms not occupied by 21h00 will be considered a no-show unless prior arrangements have been made.

Guest Policies

• SA Resident Special: a South African ID must be presented on arrival. Failure to do so will result in additional charges.
• Premium Tents include free use of the e-cart. For Classic or Signature Tents, the e-cart is available at R650 per day.
• Children are warmly welcomed. Units include a daybed convertible to a single bed, with linens provided on request. Children aged 5 and under stay free. For ages 6 to 18, a nightly supplement of R1,800 (including breakfast) applies for one child per suite.
• Pets are allowed by prior arrangement only.

Indemnity & Waiver of Liability

Please read the following carefully, as it outlines important legal terms regarding your stay at Yamu Lifestyle Resort.

I, the undersigned guest of Yamu Lifestyle Resort, located at the Clanwilliam Dam in the Cederberg region, hereby waive any and all claims of any nature, whether arising from negligence or otherwise, against the owners, directors, employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, or any party involved in the management or operation of the resort.

I acknowledge that:

• The resort is situated in a natural environment where encounters with wildlife may occur. I accept that such interactions carry inherent risks and enter the property entirely at my own risk.
• I am provided access to an electric e-cart and assume full responsibility for its safe operation, including any damage, injury, or loss resulting from its use.
• The use of all resort facilities, services and equipment is undertaken at my own risk.
• The resort and its affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss of life, or damage to property suffered by me or my guests, regardless of cause.
• In the event of premature departure, I accept full responsibility for the total cost of the reserved accommodation.
• I confirm that I have read, understood and accept these terms and am legally bound by this indemnity.
